Trust policy

Editorial Policy

Recommendations are earned by evidence, separated from compensation, and labeled by what the team actually did.

Editorial independence

Affiliate relationships, free products, loans, sponsorships, and other material connections are disclosed. They do not purchase a ranking, claim, or removal of a drawback. The editorial team decides what to research and publish.

Research language is literal

  • Sources checked means the exact model is tied to a manufacturer page, current manual, and Amazon US listing.
  • Researched means named sources support the conclusion without implying personal product use.
  • Manufacturer-stated output, timing, power, noise, and capacity figures remain attributed claims.
  • Source conflicts and variant uncertainty are shown in the product record.
  • A recommendation always includes buyer fit and material trade-offs.

How products are selected

The recommendation set spans genuine user choices: budget bullet, value and premium nugget, clear ice, and higher-output use. Stable model identity, credible sellers, current manuals, warranty visibility, and likely availability matter more than filling a list with cosmetic clones.

Updates and freshness

An updated date changes only after material rechecking. Product availability, source documents, and editorial review keep separate dates. A model that changes materially is reassessed rather than silently inheriting an older verdict.

Automation and editorial responsibility

Software may help organize records, flag stale data, or check links and structure. It cannot invent direct experience, approve a safety claim, or replace editorial responsibility. Material claims must trace to a named source.

Editorial transparency

This page is governed by our editorial policy, review methodology, and corrections process.
